How long do you photograph at a wedding?
That depends on the amount of coverage you require. My packages start with 6 hours coverage, ideal for a shorter day, right up to 12 hours to cover every detail from preparations in the morning to your party at the night time. When I start and when I leave is completely up to you.
Do you take traditional family group shots?
This is a question I get asked a lot as wedding photographer who takes mainly natural, un-posed shots. I do though make some time available for traditional family group shots, I advise no more than 8 and these can be done quickly with minimal fuss.
How can we book you?
The first thing to do is head over to my packages & contact page and pop your details in the form. I will then get straight back to you with my availability and prices. I love to meet my couples in person to discuss their day but I know this isn’t always possible so we can always have a chat over Skype if required. Then on receipt of a completed contract and a £400 deposit, you are all booked and your date is secured.
How many photographs will we get?
I don’t put a limit on the number of photographs you will receive, however this will be at least 300 images all edited to the highest standards.
What if I don’t like having my photograph taken?
Then you are exactly like me, and I think a lot of people feel uncomfortable having their photograph taken. My unobtrusive and natural approach to photographing weddings will certainly help you relax, and I will give you a few pointers before your day. An Engagement or pre-wedding shoot can also help with this, getting you both used to me and being in front of the camera.
How long does it take to receive our photographs?
That can depend on the time of year and how many weddings I have photographed just before yours, but it typically takes 8 weeks to receive your photo’s. I will however send a few sneak peaks out a few days after your wedding to keep you going to the main collection is complete.
Can I print my photos?
You certainly can, all images come with a personal print license. I really hope you do, there is nothing better than seeing a photograph in print, I recommend online services such as Photobox or DS Colour Labs. You can also upload your images to social media to share with friends and family if you wish.
Do you have backup equipment?
I sure do, I carry multiple Sony full frame camera’s and fast lenses along with plenty of batteries and memory cards.
You are a Cheshire wedding photographer, how far will you travel to photography my wedding?
I am based in Cheshire but photograph weddings all over the north west and UK. My price covers travel across England, Scotland & Wales. I am also available for destination weddings, please get in touch for more information.
Are you insured?
Yes I am fully insured, with public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
